AdventNet's Trap Receiver can receive traps approximately 3100 traps/sec if there are no processing for traps received. If the incoming trap rate is greater than 3100, the TrapReceiver may start losing traps.
The following tests were performed on:
Operating System - Red Hat Linux 7.2 (Enigma)
RAM - 512 MB
Processor - PIV 1.8 GHz
JDK version - 1.5.0

All the traps were received by the TrapReceiver without any loss. All traps were SNMPv1 traps.
